What's included in the sale of our home in Rome (briefly)? All
of the permanent fittings are included (shelves, light fittings,
ceiling fans etc) along with all of the furniture, this could be
especially useful for those re-locating from abroad who wish to
dispense with the hassle of finding the perfect piece of furniture
to blend in with their new Italian pad and then having to transport
it or move it in to their home in Rome.
What's it like living in Rome in the Alban Hills?: In a word relaxing. Our lovely home in Rome is away from the hustle and bustle of town. It's a very large balcony apartment and an ideal family home in a quiet neighbourhood with only 6 other apartments in the building. It has the added advantage of been one of the few apartments with car park (2 parking spaces with electronic secured gates). Our apartment in Rome is conveniently situated within easy reach of all local amenities with good bus and train connections. 5 minutes by car from Grottaferrata village centre; 10 minutes from lively Frascati town centre; and only 25 minutes from the centre of the city of Rome. The interior of our large apartment in Rome is very spacious and airy with double French doors from every room leading onto balconies on three sides of the building - taking full advantage of the peaceful semi-rural location. On sunny days the sun moves around the building and by late morning floods the main balcony with bright sunshine until early evening - giving you ample opportunity to relax in the sunshine or enjoy a barbecue. If you prefer to keep cool in the shade, the main balcony is fitted with full length, adjustable retractable sun canopies. All of the balconies have lights and the spacious main balcony is an ideal area for drinks or dinner parties with family and friends on a warm summer evening. How soon could I move in and come home to Rome? Whoever makes our apartment in Rome their 'home in Rome' will be able to move in straight away after completion, enjoy living with a peaceful outlook in the Alban Hills, have nice views and discover a calm escape from the hustle and bustle of Italian city life - all this with lots of space, 3 balconies and just 25 minutes from the centre of historic Rome City. |

Location: Our plush, large apartment in Rome is located in the heart of the Alban Hills, occupying a semi-rural location in a small peaceful hamlet called Grottaferrata. It is just 10 minutes (by car) from the pretty town of Frascati (famous for all that lovely Italian wine) and just 25 minutes from the centre of the City of Rome. Grottaferrata and neighbouring Frascati town are both steeped in history (as indeed is the whole of the surrounding area), set amid a rural landscape with an abundance of vineyards. So it's ideal for anyone looking for apartments for sale in Frascati as we're only ten minutes away.
